The finnish summer is very intense and starts in about middle of June. Warm and dry weather is typical during this period. The fresh green of the trees and the beautiful colors of the flowers glow splendid.
Straw-, cloud-, blue-, lingon- and cranberries can be picked until late summer and autumn. The sun is shining almost day and night and invite for all kind of activities... by the way: the harm of the moscitos isn't that big! Because only humid and warm springs bring us these multilegged enemies! Ruska – the colorful time! Beginning of september the trees, bushes and berries start to glow in shiny yellow, orange and red colors. Mushrooms are growing everywhere! A real paradise for mushroom-pickers! The days are often clear and still warm. There are still a lot of berries found in end of september.
Beginning in october the days start to be shorter and the nights cooler. Slowly returns peace and silence back to the nature.
