Finally we got enough snow to start really season , it keep us nervous this autumm with lot of rain and warm winds. Now we have about 15 cm snow and more is comin so it looks more or less normal again.
For comin season bif chance in our doing is more day safaris and bit less overnight tours, we are workin together with Iso-syöte hotel and we drive plenty of safaris for them. We also still have our long tour for client who wish to stay with our huskies longer time. Also staying in our huskyfarm is still possible like before.
Our crew have also some new members. From last years Arja is still careing our dogs. As new members of group we have Eveliina who is helping with dogs and also work on safaris as helper. Bengt from netherlands is here again after 10 years , he does dog careing and also helpin with safaris . Complete new member of crew is Marja, marja is workin as main guide .She is oprofessional guide and also have wery strong education for finnish natural animals . So for people who like to know bit more about bears and wolfs as example she is wery good adviser.
To season we go with bit smaller amount of dogs as past years. At moment we have 63 dogs totally in our farm. That amount is something i have plan since years, i didnt feel over 100 dog kennel so nice than this smaller one is. Our dogs have pretty good training season behind and they are really ready for comin season. Oldest dogs who still goes to safaris are Paz and Santana, they was running allready 10 year ago and still in strong condition both. For this season also some young dogs start their currier.All of our young ones also have start well with running,so we can expect good members to our crew in comin years again.
In our aroundings compare to last years biggest chances are in kennel, we build almost whole dogyard new last summer, its wery nice and also practical for workers and dogs . Cabins and buildings we didnt chance this summer lot. For our trails we have made some fixings during summer to get them even more comfortable and save for client and our huskies.
All in all we are lookin forward to comin winter ! We are ready to make funny tours with you ! So welcome to huskyfarm in comin season!
